Greetings!
It was time for some new artwork for Requiem Aeternam and fortunately we needed a new motive for the first volume of the comic. Apparently, we work far better with stone-solid deadlines and the panic-driven work mania even produces quite lovely results.
It is kept in violet tones, representing the amethyst gate Saire turns into. The only other colour used is orange to highlight the holy Rakksha-stones. We tried to capture Saires unconditional positivity as well as her trust in the things to come and chose her first step into her new existence as a fitting cover motif for the first volume.
The picture was created completely digital and designed to fit our new roll-up banner, too. Therefore, its dimensions were huge (and with this we mean insanely huge) but thanks to a recent hardware update its creation went smoother than the last banner picture. Fortunately, these times belong to the past now and we are heading towards the new chapters of Requiem Aeternam as confidently as Saire towards her destiny. We hope you like this artwork.
